Photoshoot

For our seminar debate today we were asked to get into groups and try and plan a photoshoot - from models to location to all the extra high costs.
In our group we decided upon doing a photoshoot for a high fashion magazine editorial which would be set in a London studio (which from Google we estimated would cost around £2000). The brief we decided upon (which in a realistic situation, would be given to the photographer as to what they need to produce as the end result) was something that: embraces individuality, high fashion, feminine, provocative and empowering. To suit this brief we decided we would have ANTM contestant model Winnie Harlow, who has vitiligo disease, perhaps modelling purely lacey/provocative lingerie with a huge fur coat, and our stylist of choice would be Edward Enniful - fashion and style director at W magazine. Furthermore, we would chose photographer Emma Summerton, who has a unique quirky style as shown from her recent Balmain campaigns featuring Naomi Campbell and Rihanna, and also her many editorials through all the high fashion magazines. We also chose upon hair and makeup: Charlie Duffy and Meggie Cousland, who are both London based and can create that natural yet beauteous look that we would have briefed.
Unfortunately, we never found what the overall cost this photoshoot would be as many of these professions like to keep their pay/wage not so explicative. However, we would imagine it would be rather pricey, yet obviously worth it for the results.
