Coincidentally this weekend was also Liverpool's 'celebration of style' weekend, therefore meaning there was plenty of arty/fashion things happening around the city. On Saturday my mum, my friend Llinos and I went to visit the Andy Warhol exhibition at the tate and then the Open Eye gallery, which was showing artists like Robert Heinecken. I particularly enjoyed Warhol, as obviously his work is so iconic, seeing it in person was quite spectacular. Warhol said everything he made was connected with death, but this show finds his humour too. His work is the very definition of art for all.

Robert Heinecken - Lessons in Posing Subjects
Robert Heinecken (1931–2006) is today considered one of the most influential post-war American photographers. However, his work is still relatively unknown in Europe. Personally, it shows the common mainstream poses that models still use today, yet as the show veers towards the end of his years;his work seemingly because more provocative and perhaps rather controversial for that time.
